Architecture Overview
Multi-tiered
Our DCC solution is centrally based on the classic 3-tiered architecture
consisting of a presentation layer, a business layer and a data layer. This
architecture is further enhanced with the innovation of a client-integration
layer, which enables the client to interact with the system seamlessly.
Technologies Used
The system is implemented on the Microsoft .NET platform, taking full advantage
of it's compatibility with SQL Server and web service related technologies. The
latest technologies such as SOAP, XML, C#, ASP.NET and XSLT contribute to
create a powerfully efficient system.
Modular Design
The architecture has been implemented using the fundamental object-oriented
programming principles. Hence the solution inherits benefits such as
scalability, maintainability and reusability, whereby modules can be plugged
into each other easily.
