Multicurrency solutions - DCC
DCC is an industry standard term used to describe the provision of a service to
a credit card holder that gives him or her the choice of paying for goods and
services in their own currency (i.e. the currency that the card was issued in)
or the merchant's local currency. This service is applicable to both CP (card
present) and CNP (card-not-present) transactions. The conversion of the
currency from the merchant's 'pricing' currency to the cardholder's 'billing'
currency must take place at the point of payment.
